Aside from the sponsor exhibits, this three-day event consists of multiple discussions, general and breakout sessions which cover a wide range of relevant topics for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Moreover, you will have the chance to network, meet with elected officials and hear from Washington insiders, such as Roz L. Alford from the National Women's Business Council, and Hector Barreto, former SBA Administrator, and business experts on policies that are impacting American businesses. Topics include, to name a few, an economic outlook for business owners, social media strategies, accessing capital, Facebook, understanding and anticipating relevant issues in the 2012 elections, accessing corporate and government contracts.
Another feature of this event includes the B2B Procurement Matchmaking hosted by The Latino Coalition. This will connect attendees with procurement officers from government agencies and Fortune 500 companies to discuss small business procurement opportunities.
